Nevada roots.
Built for the road beyond.
A modern trading post shaped by desert roads, mountain escapes, good coffee, and gear worth bringing along.
Born in Las Vegas.
Built for what comes next.
Sloan Canyon Trading Post is a Nevada-rooted outdoor and lifestyle shop built around useful gear, good coffee, and products that earn their place.
We were born and raised in Las Vegas, and that desert upbringing is a big part of who we are. The open roads, harsh summers, mountain escapes, desert trails, and the constant urge to get out and explore all shape the way we look at gear and what we choose to carry.
We believe a good store should feel curated, not crowded. That means carrying things we’d actually want along for a road trip, a weekend outside, an early trail morning, or everyday life.
What earns a place here.
We look for products that solve a real problem, travel well, and make time outside better.
We would rather carry fewer good things than fill pages just to make the catalog look bigger.
Desert roads, mountain escapes, and the Southwest shape how Sloan Canyon looks, feels, and grows.
Grown from a passion for the outdoors.
Sloan Canyon grew out of the VegasGuyX community, but it was created to stand on its own. The goal has always been to build something that feels like a modern trading post: a place where outdoor gear, vehicle essentials, trail food, coffee, apparel, and interesting finds all belong under one roof.
A place that feels worth stopping for.
Useful gear. Good coffee. Interesting finds. A Nevada identity. The kind of place people remember, not another tab they forget five minutes later.
The goal is bigger than an online store.
One of our long-term goals is to take Sloan Canyon beyond the screen and open a physical trading post here in Nevada. A real place people can walk into, explore, grab a coffee, check out new gear, connect with the community, and simply enjoy being there.
We want Sloan Canyon to become more than a store. We want it to become a place people remember stopping at.
We’re growing carefully, intentionally, and without filling the shelves just for the sake of filling them.
