SLOAN CANYON FIELD GUIDE

Find the right vehicle gear

Your vehicle badge is a starting point. The exact model, year, key style and installation details determine fit.

Choose an AJT fob housing

These are replacement housings for compatible factory fobs. Original electronics and batteries are reused, not supplied. Start with the family below, then match your actual fob to the product’s compatibility photos and instructions.

Four checks before you buy

  1. Confirm model year and ignition type: push-button start and conventional-key versions can use different housings.
  2. Compare button layout, original fob shape and the compatibility image—not just the outside shape of the replacement case.
  3. Read what original parts must transfer and whether the emergency key can be stored.
  4. Watch the linked installation video. Check tool requirements and any warnings about removing the original case or transponder.

AJT’s listed instructions warn against threadlocker such as Loctite. Follow the instructions for the exact housing rather than applying a procedure from a similar model.

Mounts, slides and roof gear need their own fit check

For fridge slides, match the exact supported fridge model and measure the mounting surface and opening clearance. For rooftop gear, check both the rack’s mounting requirements and the vehicle manufacturer’s limits. A vehicle-family filter helps narrow shopping; it is not a fitment guarantee.

Need a second look?

Contact us with your vehicle year/model, ignition type and the product you’re considering. For a fob, include a clear photo of the original housing without exposing personal key codes.

Compatibility follows the current AJT product listings. Manufacturer instructions are the final reference for installation.
